Monitoring
of Industrial Process Scenario The client is a well-known aluminum factory. A pressure sensor is
attached to a potentially dangerous boiler. An analog /digital converter is used to convert the signal into data in
P.S.I. Problem Management wanted all information concerning this boiler to be known to
supervisors wherever they were in the plant. Solution Setting-up a <Protocol Converter > with a local transmitter linked
to a pager. The supervisor on duty is equipped with a pager that lets him know every 30 seconds what the pressure of that boiler is, no matter where he may be in the plant. |
